Pebble Creek Golf Club in Becker, Minn., has a problem that many other courses nationwide struggle with — Canada geese. According to an article on twincities.com, Pebble Creek’s superintendent Robert Stern, has tried to get rid of the 100 or so birds that can be seen on the course any given day with no success. His dog has only scattered geese to the next fairway and flashing lights at the geese has not scared them off. However the city has employed a more permanent solution to the goose problem. Hunters. A hunt, specially-arranged by the city of Becker which owns the 27-hole course and Maxxed Out Guides, recently knocked out some of the geese.
