5th Annual Golfdom Summit in full swing

Things are going swimmingly here at the 5th Annual Golfdom Summit!

Last night I had the pleasure of introducing Annika Sorenstam to a group of about 100 people. That’s just a cool moment to be a part of. Annika is one of the nicest people in golf, I’m happy that she’s a friend of the magazine’s. Total class.

Another highlight was Josh Lewis’ talk about the 2015 U.S. Open. If you’re curious about what he said to a small group of superintendents, don’t worry — I recorded the conversation and will post some highlights from the talk on the blog next week.

We’ve got 40 superintendents from all over the country here meeting with our 15 Summit sponsors. Right now 1-on-1 meetings are taking place, both here in the resort and outside on the driving range. I just saw Mark Kuhns (Baltusrol) out on the range getting a demo on a Turfco Widespin, and on the other side of the range Matthew Wharton (Carolina Golf Club) was getting a demo from the Smithco team.

We’re already talking about the 2016 Golfdom Summit. Want to be a part of it? Click here and apply.

More soon, right now I have to crash some of these 1-on-1 meetings for photos…
