Course of the Week: Braemar Golf Course

By |  May 14, 2019 0 Comments

On May 15, the city of Edina, Minn., will unveil its new, Richard Mandell-designed 18-hole Braemar Golf Course on the site of the old 27-hole layout. Jeff Mold serves as superintendent of the course.

Braemar is the first new 18-hole municipal golf course built in the state of Minnesota since 2003. The course has already been awarded an ASGCA Design Excellence Award highlighting not just the golf architecture of the course, but the environmental successes achieved there as well, another example of how golf and nature work well together.
