United Turf Alliance adds distributor, expands in Southeast

United Turf Alliance (UTA) says Chattahoochee Turf Products–a Cobb, Georgia- based distributor of professional turfgrass maintenance products–has joined the organization in an ownership position.

Chattahoochee Turf Products, owned by Roger and Susan Myers, has been an independent dealer partner of UTA for three years. The company has primarily done business in Georgia but will now expand into Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and the Florida Panhandle.

“Chattahoochee Turf Products strengthens the alliance and our position in the Southeast,” said UTA President Tim Zech. “Roger’s familiarity with our ArmorTech and Optimizer product lines means the Chattahoochee Turf Products sales team can hit the ground running and quickly develop new business in their expanding market area.”

Roger Myers views his ownership in UTA as an opportunity to provide his customers with more of the products they need.  “My experience with UTA tells me that taking my involvement to the next level will be advantageous for my customers, my employees and my company as a whole,” he said.

UTA markets turf protection products under the ArmorTech and Optimizer names through its members and dealer partners. Its products include herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, fertilizers, growth regulators and pigment additives.
