PBI-Gordon: Aethon Herbicide SL for Turfgrass

Aethon™ Herbicide SL for Turfgrass from PBI-Gordon Corporation is a liquid formulation specifically created to offer broad-spectrum control of sedges (yellow, purple, and annual), kyllingas (green, false green, cockscomb, and annual), dollarweed, doveweed, ground ivy, chickweed, plantain, and several key broadleaf weeds. It also reduces the number and viability of nutsedge tubers.

Labeled for warm-season, southern turfgrass varieties – including improved varieties of St. Augustine – Aethon utilizes a proprietary blend of active ingredients Pyrimisulfan and Penoxsulam. Control of labeled weeds can be achieved in a single application, which simplifies rotating various modes of action for broadleaf weeds.

Aethon can be used on a wide variety of sites, including residential and commercial lawns, golf fairways, tees, roughs and aprons, sports facilities, parks, cemeteries, and sod farms.
