University of Minnesota Turfgrass Field Day

A beautiful summer day welcomed attendees of the University of Minnesota Turfgrass Field Day. Exhibitors, field plot tours, lots of turf plots, friendly people and lunch were all part of a great day.

I believe there were eight official tour stops with field experiments presented by University of Minnesota faculty, staff and graduate students. I think there were eight tour stops because I got out of sequence on the tour and was talking with friends instead of paying attention.

All the tour stops highlighted innovative research that will help superintendents in the now and in the future. The accompanying picture captions share a capsule of the topics presented.
